A little bit about what you'll find reviewed here

A little bit about what you'll find reviewed on this blog: I believe the best books involve characters you wish you could read more about long after the book is finished. Recently, I've been searching for hidden gems from the past. I read mostly fiction, and I'm a bit of a prude. I don't normally enjoy books with sex or excessive language.

Who I am:
I raised two wonderful girls, and I'm super proud of them. I enjoy reading (of course), sewing, cross stitching, photography and writing. I live in the high desert portion of Washington (which I didn't know existed until my husband and I decided to move here) and have really enjoyed my time out here. I am excited to see what God has next in store for my life!

Operation Zulu Redemption: Overkill - The Beginning - Ronie Kendig

You should start reading this knowing that it's one story broken up into five parts.  The complete story includes:
Overkill - The Beginning
Collateral Damage - Part 1
Out of Nowhere - Part 2
Hazardous Duty - Part 3
Act of Treason - Part 4

In this 'episode,' we get to meet some of the team, and sadly, some aren't long for this world.  Five years ago, something went wrong in Misrata, leading to a tragedy involving innocent women and children.  The team members went into hiding and tried to leave that mission behind them.  Unfortunately, someone has tracked them down and is determined to take them all out.  The remaining members are being rounded up, hopefully ahead of the assassin to try and figure out what's happening now and what went wrong then.

This particular part of the story is 73 pages, and you don't even meet all the members of the team.  The rest of them range average about 185 pages with the long one being Part 1 at 238 pages.  I recommend picking them all up and reading them OR you'll have the chance to pick up the entire story together starting December 1, 2014.  You don't really risk anything by trying this out, Overkill - The Beginning is FREE and doesn't take long to read.  I personally got the other four episodes for $0.99 each, so I feel like I got a good deal.

I plan on reading these for the next few weeks, it's a great start to a great story by a wonderful author.  I got caught up in the action and can't wait to start reading the next one!  Good Story!
