A little bit about what you'll find reviewed on this blog: I believe the best books involve characters you wish you could read more about long after the book is finished. Recently, I've been searching for hidden gems from the past. I read mostly fiction, and I'm a bit of a prude. I don't normally enjoy books with sex or excessive language.

Who I am:
I am a stay at home mother of two wonderful girls. I enjoy reading (of course), sewing, cross stitching, photography and writing. I live in the high desert portion of Washington (which I didn't know existed until my husband and I decided to move here) and have really enjoyed my time out here. I am excited to see what God has next in store for my life!

Rugged Romance Giveaway - Dani Pettrey

In honor of the release of the fourth book in the Alaskan Courage series, Silenced, Dani Pettrey is having a giveaway!  There's some really impressive prizes including a $250 dollar gift certificate on Alaska Airlines!  There's also some very pretty wall art and a really cool picnic set.

The contest runs from May 1 to the 21st.  Winners are announced on the 23rd.  It's really easy to enter and you can do as much, or as little, as you want to.  There's ways to enter by using Twitter, Facebook, etc. but there's also something as easy as entering your name and email or picking your favorite prize.  It's definitely worth a shot!

      I was drawn to the artwork at first, but then I saw the picnic set and said, "WOW!" It's definitely my favorite. :)
